What are you Considering?

Hebrews 11:11 (Moffatt) “It was by faith that even Sara got strength to conceive, bearing a son when she was past the age for it — because she considered she could rely on Him who gave the promise.”

Growing strong in faith is a process. We can see it in the life of Abraham and Sarah. Their journey started with God calling Abram to leave his father and mother and go to a land that God would show him. Over the years, Abraham developed in faith and was able to trust God for bigger things. Even believing for a son when he was a hundred years old.

The plans and purposes of God for our lives far exceed the plans we have. God is able to do far more abundantly above all that we ask or think; He simply is looking for someone who will believe Him.

One of the key areas that we can learn from Abraham and Sarah about faith is what they chose to consider. Even though the circumstances and their own feelings were contrary to what God said, they chose to think only on the promises of God. What God said He would do and God’s ability to perform what He said.

Going strong in faith comes from what we choose to think on.

We are responsible for what we choose to think on. God cannot make us grow strong in faith, as much as He wants His children to trust Him for greater things, the responsibility to think on what God has said is on us.

Even though we face circumstances and situations that seem to be contrary to what God said, we don’t have to give up and let loose of our faith. Instead, like Abraham and Sarah, we choose to consider and meditate upon God and His ability.

Is anything too hard for God?

Is anything impossible with God?

Is the circumstance we are facing too much for God?

NO!

God is greater, bigger, and stronger than any circumstance we would ever face! We simply have to keep our attention on Him! He is faithful to perform His Word in our lives.

Praise God that He is faithful and we can rely on Him!

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
