We Choose Where We Win!

2 Corinthians 10:3-4For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

We are in a fight; whether we want to be or not, we are in a spiritual battle! The enemy aims to minimise the effect of the Kingdom of God in our lives and to minimise the effect of the Kingdom of God shining through to reach others. Satan does this through deceiving thoughts to build a stronghold in our minds.

But! Jesus defeated the enemy and made a public display of him and then He gave His authority and power to the Church so that we, as members of His Body, have the right to enforce the victory in our lives! As believers, we have the authority to choose where this battle is fought and the weapons we use to walk in the victory.

Satan uses the natural realm to try and get us to look at the circumstances. Bank accounts, pain in the body, mental anguish, our feelings, and even other people are all strategies that he will use to try and get us to give up on the truth of the Word of God. We’re not ignorant of his devices! We know what his aim is, and we know how to fight this battle. Our weapons are not of this world; our weapon is the Word of God, spoken with our mouth to speak the truth over our situation.

The truth of God’s Word is and always will be the truth, regardless of what the world says or our circumstances say. When we believe and speak God’s Word over our situation and allow it to form our beliefs and frame the way we see things, the Word of God will work in our situation.

I encourage you this week to speak the Word of God over yourself. While you’re driving to work, on a walk, making dinner, etc., speak God’s truth over your life and watch how your thoughts and beliefs change to the truth.

Psalm 91 is a wonderful passage to start speaking over your life, and Ephesians 1:17-23.

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
