Transferred!

Jesus won! He defeated the enemy, and now we have been given the authority to rule and to reign in this life. (Romans 5:17)

Colossians 1:13-14 says that we have been transferred out of darkness and into the Kingdom of His dear son. We once were dominated and manipulated by the devil, but when Jesus came, He disarmed the rulers and authorities of darkness, and He delegated His authority to us, the Church!

Satan’s aim has been to minimise the impact of the Kingdom of God in our lives and to minimise our impact of the Kingdom of God in the lives of others.

But we’re not under the control and dominion of darkness; we are part of the Kingdom of Light! We’re the ones who carry the light of the Gospel to this dark world. We’re the ones with the authority over the enemy to bring about the plans and purposes of God in our generation. We’re the ones who are equipped with power to tread upon all the powers of the enemy.

We’re the Church, the Body of Christ; our assignment is to carry out the orders of the Head, Jesus Christ.

As we start this new week, let’s remember the authority and power that has been delegated to us and walk with our heads held high because we represent the Kingdom of Light to the people we come across. Let’s be prepared to let this glorious Gospel shine through us.
