Our Faith can Grow!

We can grow in our faith!

The more we grow in our faith, the more impact our faith can have. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro across the whole earth, looking for a heart that is loyal towards Him.

God is looking for someone who will simply believe His Word. At Redeemer Coast, we are of those who believe God! We are those who believe, act and speak God’s Word, and we see His promises come to pass in our lives.

When we think about our heroes of faith, we admire the things they did for God. It can be easy to think that we could never do what they did because of their great faith. But we all have to start somewhere, we start with the little things, and those small victories become the stepping stones for greater victories.

David started with the lion and the bear and experienced God’s victory in those areas, so when it came time to face Goliath, he was ready. He knew God’s faithfulness, God’s power and His ability, so he could boldly approach Goliath with a strong statement of faith. “I came at you in the name of the Lord of Heavenly Armies.”

We go from faith to faith, and we continue to grow. The more we grow in our faith, the more impact our faith can have on our families, jobs, finances, and those around us.

I encourage you this week to take the step, act on what you know to do, and experience the faithfulness of God in your life. As you do, your faith will grow.
