He is and He is the Rewarder
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him for whoever comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Our faith in God is what is pleasing to Him.
Whoever comes to God must believe two things:
That He is
He rewards those who seek Him
When the Bible says to believe that “He is”, it not only means that God exists, but it means to know that God is with you, He is for you, and He cares about you. God is not some distant God up in heaven who doesn’t care about us, He is a very present God who deeply cares for each one of us. He cares about our hearts, our situation, and what we are going through, and He hears us when we call on Him.
God is also the rewarder of those who seek Him. Seeking God is about a relationship with Him. He is our Heavenly Father who loves His children. He longs for us to trust Him. As we seek God with all of heart, we begin to understand that He can be trusted, that He is faithful to perform His Word in our lives and that He is always good. The reward of knowing God is that we get to experience His faithfulness in our lives!
This week, let’s remember that God is with us, He cares about us, and He hears us when we on His name. Let’s continue seeking Him with our whole heart because He is our Good Father.
