Anchored Souls

We live in a world where everything changes constantly. We go through different seasons of life, relationships, jobs, routines, patterns, politics, etc. We’re used to change, so how can we live strong, secure and victorious lives in a constantly changing world?

We need a God who keeps His covenant!

And this is our God! The Bible says in Hebrews 6:18-19

“that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.”

God’s Word and His promises are the very reasons why we can live a sure and steadfast life. A life full of hope, with our souls anchored upon the unchangeableness of God’s Word.

I want to encourage you this week not to allow yourself to lose hope or be in despair; your circumstances may have changed, but God’s Word has not changed. Instead, allow God’s promises to anchor your emotions and thoughts because God cannot lie! Magnify the Lord and His promises over and above the circumstances around you. Remember His covenant with you, His covenant to never leave you nor forsake you. His covenant to bless and prosper you. His covenant to love you. His covenant to always lead you into triumph. His covenant to protect, guide and lead you into His plan. He will provide for you! He will make sure you make it through every situation with His victory!

Let’s rejoice in our covenant-keeping God!
