Our Vision
Habakuk 2:2 “And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.”
In order for us to move forward and fulfil the God-given mandate as a church, we all need to know and understand the vision of Redeemer Coast.
The local church is not a man-made organisation, it is particularly designed and detailed by God to train, establish, and equip His people. The Bible says that God sets the members in the body as He pleases. (1 Corinthians 12:18). Joining a local church is no small matter. God has taken the time to thoughtfully place each one of us in His Body as it pleases Him. He made the local church to be the place where people find, follow and fulfil God’s plan for their life as part of a body.
The local church is not just about the pastor knowing the vision and running it by himself. The vision that God has for His church is for each member in the body to find their place and function in their grace. In order for people to find their grace and place, they need to understand the vision of the church that God has joined them to.
Pastors Grant and Linda and the leadership team of taken the time to meditate, pray and seek the Lord on how to write the vision and make it plain so that each person can see what their part and run with it too.
There is a booklet called “Vision 2030” that describes the Why, What and How of Redeemer Coast over the next five years.
I encourage you to pick up a hard copy at church on Sunday. Have a read through it, pray over it, and ask God how to fulfil your function in the church.
You are needed! You have a part to play in this vision that goes far beyond living for just this life; it is a vision that impacts people’s eternity and their place in God’s Kingdom. What you do matters. It matters to God, it matters to others, and it matters for eternity. Let God show you your place in His body, His church. Every part is called to fulfil their God-given place! That includes you!
We are so thankful for each one of you and who you are. We have a wonderful church family with people we love and value.
Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.
Blessings,
Chloe
