Obtain a Good Report

Hebrews 11:1-2 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.”

Faith is not just for salvation; faith is for all the troubles we will ever face in life.

We can look at the heroes of faith and see how they used their faith to overcome and implement God's will and purpose on the earth.

If they received the promises of God and overcame the trials of life, then so can we!

It’s important to understand that faith in God's Word is the foundation of what we are hoping for.

Our faith is the title deed that what God has promised belongs to us. We may not see it yet in the natural, but because of faith, we know and are convinced that we have what God has said.

God's Word is our evidence that we have it!

Faith in God's Word is our proof, even when Satan comes with thoughts and feelings of doubt. We don’t have to believe his lies; we already have the proof; we have the answer!

Glory to God!

Our faith is our legal and spiritual right to what we are hoping for, and it is our proof that what we are hoping for is ours. When it is all set and done, we will receive a report that says “well done! We stood in faith!”

When we learn to stand in faith, we can obtain a good report.

When we learn to stand in faith, it pleases God, and He gives a good report about us!

Faith pleases God! It delights Him when He sees His children walking by faith. In the same way, parents in the natural are so excited when they see their children act like them; it excites God when He sees us act like Him.

God operates by faith; therefore, we as His children operate by faith.

I encourage you this week to use your faith on purpose! Act like your Heavenly Father and speak to those situations, knowing that faith in His Word is the evidence and proof of your victory! God is well pleased when He sees you act just like Him.
