Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬, ‭4‬-5 “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),”
According to these verses, we once were dead in our sins but now we are dead to sin!
Praise the Lord! We have been made alive and we are now free to live our lives for God.
We were once sinners by nature but now that we’re in Christ, our new, Born Again nature is righteous.
This is the Gospel, the power of God unto Salvation.
The revelation of who we are in Christ is essential to walking in the victory that Jesus purchased for us.
When we read the Word of God, His Word begins to transform the way that we think.

In Philippians, when Paul was addressing two women who were in the middle of a disagreement, he reminded them that both of their names are written in the Book of Life.

It was a statement that we can easily read over, but if we take the time to think about what the Holy Spirit was saying through Paul, we realise that this is a significant truth that can greatly help us in our relationships.
