Emboldened to Share the Gospel

John 4:29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?””

It is through experiencing the true grace of God that we can go out and testify to the goodness of God. When the woman who was at the well encountered Jesus, even though she was living in sin, her sin did not disqualify her from experiencing the grace of God. Jesus took time with her and revealed to her one of the most amazing truths about worship. “The Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

When this woman experienced the kindness and grace of Jesus, she boldly went to her city and testified saying “Come and see a man who has told me all things I ever did.” I don’t know too many people who would invite people to come and see someone who knows their past. Most people want to hide in the darkness when they’re in bondage to sin, but this woman, when her sin was exposed, she wasn’t condemned, she wasn’t accused, she experienced the true grace of God and was set free because the light of God’s grace empowered her! As a result, she boldly became a witness for Jesus in her hometown.

This is what God’s grace does for us. Sin is no longer our master, it no longer has the power over us to condemn us, instead, the grace of God has transferred us out of darkness into the kingdom of His Son! Sin no longer has dominion over us. The grace of God empowers us, strengthens us, and gives us purpose in this life.

Just as Paul proclaimed, “We are not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God unto Salvation.” Let’s take what God has done in us and for us, and share it with those around us. This is the message of the Gospel! We are free from sin! Praise God!

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
