Grace Faith Church

Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”

As a local church, it is important that we understand who we are, where we are going and why. We’re here to fulfill the god-given mandate that He has assigned to us.

We are a New Testament church, a grace faith church because we believe that it is by grace that we are saved through faith. It all started with the mercy of God, who loved us so much that He saved us, not only from sin, death and eternal judgment, but He saved us from any harm and destruction that comes against us.

As a church, it is our responsibility to teach people who they are in Christ, the finished work of the cross and what God has done for us, in us and through us. When people begin to understand who they are in Christ and the victory that Jesus won for them, it changes people’s lives. They learn to live in and walk in the victory of Jesus and any hold that the devil once had on their lives is destroyed. That is why we are a grace faith church. It is not because of anything that we have done to earn God’s plan of redemption, it is because God is rich in mercy and He loves us that He freely gave us everything we would ever need. We simply receive it through faith.

This is why we’re here, and this is what you, as one who calls Redeemer Coast home, are part of too. It is our prayer that as you continue to come and hear the Word of God, the eyes of your heart are enlightened to understand the hope of His calling for your life. Everything we would ever need is already done in Christ, we don’t need to pray for a victory, we need the light of the Gospel to dawn on us so we can understand the victory of who we are in Christ and walk in it each day.

This is the prayer that we, as your pastors, pray for you. (Ephesians 1:17-23)
